We are an IT company based in Canterbury,UK and run a website called WhosOff.com and we seem to get more attention in the USA (USAToday/Techcrunch.com) than in the UK...

WhosOff.com is also a story of modest entrepreneurship - proving that you do not need to be in Silicon Valley or backed by millions in venture captial to get a project off the ground.

WhosOff.com is proving a useful and popular tool for businesses of all sizes -it is a free to use fully featured, online staff holiday planner.(web 2.0,SaaS, etc!)

The Site was launched on 1st July 2006 and has recently been getting lots interest on some blogs around the world...

In November 2009 WhosOff.com moved to a paid service only (the Free model, paid by ads did not meet the costs) - Fortunately,our gamble paid off as over 60% of our customers were happy to continue and pay for the service.

Today, WhosOff.com is a leader in online staff holiday management, with over 30,000 users , from hundreds of companies in over 20 countries.

The system has processed over 1,100,000 leave requests.
