Smart Meters - Anyone use them in their business premises?

A client of mine manufactures Smart Meters and they would be keen to hear from any SME that uses this system and their comments on how it effected their energy output.

We do building automation and are particularly passionate about its application in building energy management. The technology we work with has the inherant ability to report energy consumption and has been designed for use in remote metering of premises BUT this metering technology has been optimised for use in continental europe and on continental european power systems not for the UK.

We'd be keen to speak to a company who has a UK optimised technology (and therefore a UK ENERGY SUPPLIER optimised technology QED) and would be interested in being able to tie this technology to BUS based building management systems for both commercial and residential use.

I have a number of clients using smart metering , the feedback is good and bad. What is needed is a better interface so clients can see their consumption in as near as possible to real time and the ability to gleam information from the data the smart meter collects.
