Small businesses - important dates and events?

Hello everyone.

I am trying to put together a list of events, important reminders, accounting dates, conferences etc. that are important for anyone with a small business.

This is to provide a resource for everyone who uses this forum, and will put in the calendar at the top for easy reference.

So I'd like to ask for your suggestions - what dates do you have in your diary? What sort of events would you like to hear about? Do you have any specific conferences or events which you'd like me to find out more about?

Any recommendations or ideas would be really welcome.

There are the "Grow your own business" exhibitions which are part of the British Franchise Exhibitions in Manchester in January and Olympia in March. There was also one in Birmingham in October.
