small business loans etc

I'm doing a bit of research into a possible small business loan (around £1500 to £2000)
there is a lot of talk on the web about government grants...but if I'm honest...a lot of it says "it's a hard process to go through" but don't really tell me how to start the process! also the banks....I'm going to be speaking to a number of the high street banks in the next few days but I'm a tad worried as I don't exactly have the best credit rating either - so I was wondering if anybody else have gone through something similar or are going through it now?

any help or advise would much appreciated!!!!!!!

[FONT=&quot]One of the best ways to get the cash that you need fast is to apply for payday loans ..they are fast , easy and moreover they do not need a credit check...though i must tell you that they have interests slightly more than the banks but they are better than the banks......
