Slogan and Tagline Help

Hello All,

Im starting a pressure washing business cleaning driveways and patios but need a slogan/tagline for my business and could do with some help from the creative s who hang around here if possible the name of the business is 'Dengie Jet Wash'.

Thanks for reading and I hope you can help.

Tom

Hey All,
Thanks again for the help, the name is where im from, its called the Dengie 100 which is a group of villages and towns in Essex, my thinking was rather than go for the town im from go for the area and keep it local rather than say Essex Jet wash, I am open to suggestions and your thoughts, nothing is set in concrete yet.
Cheers
Tom

"no need to roll out the red carpet
when your driveway looks this good"

Dengie Jet Wash - Expert Driveway & Patio Cleaning

Your slogan needn't sound comical and ideally it should contain the name of your company in case this is the only part of your sales message that gets read!

Re the business name keep it

When people search for your service on the internet they will enter

driveway cleaning Dengie

or

patio cleaning Dengie

or

jet wash service Dengie

so keeping your business name in line with what they search for means you'll rank high in searchengines when they come looking for you, maybe even number 1 or 2 spot.

I have a business I promote using free ads and I'm number 2 on Google doing it this way in the free ad titles.
I advertise my business (Pain free marketing) similarly and am also on page 1 of Google with free ads.

I'll send you a link to an article I wrote on how to get to Google's front page with a free ad if you are interested in free advertising that works. I can't post links here yet.

If you read my article about naming your business then you'll find some useful information about names with geographic constraints in them. Just remember none of the 'rules' are written in stone, there are always exceptions, but they are a pretty good guideline. There are also plenty more articles on the web about naming your business.

Have fun :)

Dingy drive?
Dengie Jet!

Rob
That gave me a laugh.

On a different note, I lived in or near Essex my whole life and never heard of Dengie until now, and I can see why considering it's nowhere near any medium/large towns in Essex.
Given that, my question would be do people living in Dengie, think of it as Dengie? No point pitching it with the geographical location in the name if people don't identify with the area.

'using pressure for your pleasure'

lmao ok that sounds more like it should be in a porno film!

I kinda just reused my own one 'Always mixing business with pleasure' to come up with that, i'm in the event planing industry so mine kinda fits better, i'll get thinking though and get back to you shortly.

Thanks for comments still trying to figure out a name, did think of Evissa Jet wash, as Evissa is Catalan for Ibiza and I do love Ibiza, and If I took the business out there for few months next summer I could keep the name.

I have read through the articles and still Im finding it hard, as with the Dengie what if i want to move the business further afield, so should I just go for Essex Jet Wash and then im ok going as far as chelmsford, southend and the like.

Could really do with getting me arse in gear as got my designer waiting for me to make a decision so can get the logo, cards and site started.

More help please is needed......

Evissa made me think eviscerate! (removal of internal organs!)

Advantage of a local name is it will do well on local searches but only if it is a name people actually use or identify with. Essex has the advantage of being geographic plus easy to remember and spell plus loos ok in a domain essexcarwash

Look s like Essex Jet Wash it is then. If and when I expand it will be easier with that name.

Essex Jet Wash - 'Putting the Pressure on Dirty Driveways'.

How do we feel about this one then.

Love to hear more of your thoughts.

Thanks to The dreaded lurgy for the tagline.

I've just looked up Dengie on Google. What a lovely place it looks.

Businesses with Essex in their name who have company vehicles and a shop front probably end up spending a lot of time repainting. The name is a magnet for pranksters, who will scrub out the ES, just like the C of Canal Road and the S of Swanky Frocks.
