Sky vs Now TV - Which...?

Good afternoon, all

So, now that Sky has bought licence for all the tennis coverage again, we need to look at rejoining Sky. My wife LOVES the tennis, so we need to get the ability to watch it back in place ASAP

I have also seen that for £35 a month I could get the Sky Sports channels on Now TV. This would be cheaper than all the rest of the stuff we'd have to pay for with Sky.

As I am pretty sure we won't really be watching anything else through Sky - we already have a Freeview box and Amazon fire stick with Prime - I don't know if it is worth paying for Sky or just signing up to Now TV (which we can get through Amazon).

Does Now have any other joining fees, over and above the £35 for Sky Sports, that would then make it more expensive than having all the Sky stuff again? (I cannot find any information on the Now website to know if they charge any other fee.)

You may well discover the tennis is on a different channel just like F1 for which you have to pay extra. Skysports will just show highlights at 2am.

Now TV says you get ALL 11 Sky Channels (including Sky Football, Sky F1, etc.). Also the Sky website seems to show that the Tennis is on Sky Sports Arena and Sky Sports Action.

And that's partly the annoying thing, apart from the tennis we won't be watching anything else that Sky shows.

Perhaps for different reasons. I don't have a TV ariel nor dish on my house and watch everything through a Roku USB stick in each TV, via the Interwebs. Not missing any channels, and do subscribe to NowTV for movies and some of the channels we want but not others. Also watch BBC, ITV, Amazon etc through the USB stick.
So my vote goes for NowTV
