Site Critique Thanks!

I remember having a look and meant to post something about this. I personally have not come across this kind of service before and was very impressed, I would use it.....except your range seems to be too limited (why did you choose that theme in particular?) and the text layout on the front with the different fonts/colours did put me off.

Same sort of thing as others have said I think.

Good luck with it Paul, I think if you tweak it a bit and broaden your range then you will do well.

Hi Salima,
Thanks for your feedback we chose this particular theme as the card images are representative of our Teddy Bears
www.flyingbears.net
We thought that by offering related greetings cards it would differentiate us from other offerings.Customers will be able to buy a personalised Teddy Bear and we will offer them a free greetings card. (this is under developoment now)
You are right we need to broaden our range and that will come over time

Paul, You can get some very useful critique here but if you are really serious about your business it is very very useful to do one of the following

a DIY Usability test - low cost and hassle and amazingly revealing.

or get a usability assesment done by a professional house - not a full on test which will set you back thousands of pounds (unless you want to) but at least an assessment costing 1-2k. The plus sides of this is that you have to pay and therefore you take their comments more seriously and act on them, they are professionals and often do know what they are talking about

I can recommend Chris at
www.cadinteractive.com

It is money well spent, believe me. All the cute bears in the world are worthless if a significant proportion of your visitors can't actually work out how to place an order.
