Simple VoIP recommendations?

Hello,

There was a thread a while ago on this site about basic cloud-based VoIP solutions for small companies, but I can't find it anymore. We have a client with only 4 staff, looking for a very simple system to manage incoming calls from 4 different locations, transfer calls, and take voicemail.

Any recommendations?

CircleLoop - I've been using them for over four years and it's great.

I have three numbers, routed to two "Teams" for two businesses. Use app on desktop or mobile. Voicemail, out of hours, call recording etc. etc and it's cheap as chips.

I think Yay.com is also good. Their cheapest package can do what you want it to.

I use VoipFone and it does everything you need.

I tried going with Ring Central but they couldn't help in porting my existing geographical number, I just kept bouncing between them and BT. They had awful outsourced "customer service". CircleLoop are a smallish UK outfit and although it took time they were persistent with the morons at BT and eventually got it working.

Did Ring Central give you a reason why they couldn't port your geographical number?

It's a few years ago now, but as I recall RingCentral said you have to ask BT, BT said you have to ask your new phone provider.

I will probably work out cheaper than Ring Central. When you look at ring centrals pricing page there are a lot of extras marked **.

Its a basic no frills solution and its cheap, but it works and I have never had a single outage.
