Simple retail EPOS system without the subscription fees? Anyone??

Could anyone be so kind as to tell me if they know of a subscription free EPOS system? We’re happy to pay and buy one outright, just abhor paying never ending fees for a simple programme now MTD is here. Looked at many but there all burger joint/just eat type set ups

I use a piece of software called Easify. I works on our shop PC as our till. We've used it for about 7 years and it works well.
It is a stand alone piece of software or you can have a hosted cloud version. If you want ecommerce then you will need the cloud version. You can download a full demo.

The only issue I have with it is that since a recent update you cannot export sales data to a format that can easily be imported into Excel.

I am not associated with the company but I can recommend it as a long time user.
