Should I pay £200 for epltalk.com to review my soccer site?

We're asking epltalk to write an article on a review on our site, but we need to pay them. Is it worth paying that kind of money for a review?

IMHO you'd be better off joining this forum for £40 and taking advantage of the 'review my website' section (only open to full members).

There are some highly knowledgable peeps in there who will tell it like it is (so brace yourself:D)

That way, you get several different reviews and still have £160 to get your article written. Everyone's happy!

Good luck.

Indeed they are - Interflora recently got a Google-slap for using paid 'Advertorials' as a linking method.

What is it that you are actually trying to achieve? Is it a constructive review of your website? PR? Backlinks?

That bit right there is the crux, answer that honestly and you will have yuor answer.

I honestly would not recommend using any site that promotes links for money, unless they are nofollow.

From the domain posted, a football fans website, I would guess its more exposure of the OPs website they're looking for rather than a design crit or backlinks.

Presumably if you approved them about your site then you think they could be of value, it really depends if you expect to get £200 worth of business' back from this site.

Realistically though we all need a bit more information about your business, the kind of review you are expecting and what you hope this review will achieve.
