We're going out to sell our solutions to companies around the world. Should I be telling them that we have worked with similar companies like them but in different countries?

Impossible to comment without any information on what your 'solution' is.

Every market is different, the USA and Australia are not the same cultures as the UK just because we all speak a similar language.

We are selling white label iphone/android apps. These apps have specific features to help banks to encourage usage of their credit cards among cards holders.

So, I'm trying to sell this to european banks, say Poland. Should I be telling them that we have also worked with banks in Germany or Austria (neighbouring countries)?

Or should I not say so that they feel more special?

2 trains of thought imo; the first is that if you mention you have dealt with other banks, it shows credibility, experience and the fact that other banks are taking up your offers, and that the banks you are then showing to, should follow suit as their competitors are too!

Secondly, the feeling more special thing. Always consider the 'what's in it for me?' question that your potential client will theoretically ask. So before you approach that particualr bank, think of that answer before they ask it and then provide a service that will answer that nicely for them, for example, a branded service for their customers, an app that is given free to their clients to assist their worldwide use of the card etc..
