Shopping carts?

Hi all... im not much a e-commerce whizz despite having a e-commerce site but I think my shopping cart is beginning to cost me customers.

I use 'VirtueMart' and its not very helpful because mainly it only lets me update/add one product at a time. It's also pretty slow and doesn't seem very user friendly.

Are there shopping carts that let you upload multiple products / do multiple product amendments? Are quick? Very user friendly? Doesnt continuously give Error messages to customers?

If you can help...also, what kind of price range would be charged to ask someone to change my shopping cart?

Magento isn't bad at all, but too expensive. It doesn't include many common features/addons which are required for a professional ecommerce business.

Just compare the two carts:
