I'm wondering, why there are so many web apps developed right now. I know it's a hot thing right now, but I've tried to estimate a lot of shopify apps and based on their reviews' number, blog pages statistics. So I think that for the most shopify apps $300-500 per month is a great success. While some apps takes months to develop and maintain then.
Why would people create it? Especially apps that are free? Could anyone shed maybe a little light on it?
