Shop front design, font, colour, ideas etc

How do I go about a new shop front?

Ive rang a couple of places and they have said you need to come to us with some ideas.
At the mo im struggling for ideas.

Is there any websites where you can play around with fonts and colours etc to get some ideas?

Any help is much appreciated.

The colour scheme of your site will really depend on what kind of demographic you are targeting. Done right there are quite a few things to take into consideration.

For colour schemes, I cant post links yet but have a look at some of the web design pallete sites out there they may give you an idea or at least a point in the right direction. Quick google search and you should be able to find some that may help!

If you send a little more information across then I'd be happy to share some thoughts/ideas.

What would your answer be to following questions?

"Where do you work?"
"What do you sell there?"
"Who do you sell to?"

An example would be,
I run my own boutique shop called Boro Boutique.
We stock a wide selection of completely unique and handmade jewellery and handbags.
Women of all ages but those in their 20's seem to my most popular customers!

That will give me some ideas about your shop and who you want to target.

Now.....

When you say shop front..... (just to be completely clear);
- Do you mean logo for the large sign across the top of a window?
- Or some stickers for the window itself?

Once we've established all of the above, we can then start to come up with some ideas.

Whether you go for a complete replacement shop front or if you are just updating your current shop the colour scheme of your site will really depend on what kind of demographic you are targeting.

Hello - I would recommend that you get two things - a professional designer and a good signage company - the designer should be able to help you mockup the design and work with your signage contractor to give them the files to make your vision a reality.
