Shipping books & magazines from USA

Hi

Since USPS stopped shipping surface, it's been stupid expensive to get books etc shipped (because so heavy for the value).

Anyone know any good solutions? This would be occasional, maybe once a year. If the magazine bit picks up it might become quarterly.

I'd be looking to order from a US supplier and have the courier collect, then ship surface to me here in the UK.

There must be thousands of such outfits - wondered if anyone has any tried and tested to suggest.

No solution but interested if you find one.

My wife moved over to UK from USA and has a vast collection she'd like shipped. Not sure there is one at an affordable rate.
