Setting Up Again After Dissolution (Time Scale)

Hi all,

If I dissolve my company and decide at a later stage to set up again. Is there a legal timeframe where I can’t restart a similar company? I remember reading something about this.

Nope, no restrictions on when you can set up a new company following dissolution.

Phoenixing fraud I think you are referring to - where exactly same company rises out of the ashes with the assets of the old co and disregarding the existing debts.

You may be thinking of Phoenix legislation which applies if you have liquidated a company and then start another business using the same or similar name within 5 years of liquidation.

Can start a new one even before shutting the old one.

The big question is what are you going to do differently to make the new company profitable
