It depends on where you are in the country. There are independent datacentres outside of London (if you are) which would suit you better as you will be able to have quicker access if anything goes wrong.

I know in Bristol (where I am) we have 2 or 3 datacentres which are a bit more expensive than London ones but means I can go to the server within 10 minutes rather than the nearly 2 hour drive.

We desgin, manage and operate our own facilites and house Colocation customers from Quarter Rack upwards.

Requirements are everything here. How much bandwidth do you need, what size of rack, what kind of support will you need, how much redundancy do you require?

If you want a list of co-location providers in the UK, just google. If you want specifics, then we need to know

1u should cost only a few hundred per month at the most

Full racks from around £1k-£3k per month dependant upon location, bandwidth and power required
