SEO for my site

I'm looking for someone to look into improving my search engine positioning. My site is steamshowerinstallation.co.uk. Its quite a niche market that I'm in and at the moment the site is appearing on page 4 on google though there is still work to be done in the next few weeks by myself. They'll be a page for articles and links relevent to the sites SEO, though anything other than that I haven't got time to do.

As this is quite a niche market I dont need to be 'top of the pops' just there or there about ideally on the first or top of the second page, the main searched keywords are ''Steam shower" and "steam cabin" or "aqualusso" which is to be the product name.

Can anyone quote for this kind of undertaking???

A great way to promote your website is by posting on forums including your website name / some basic information in your signature, it can help Google and other Search Engines Crawl and Index your site faster.

Another good way is to set-up a blog on your website and write new content daily. I would also advise you get an RSS feed up as this can be extremely helpful.

I've also noticed that a lot of your images don't have alternate text, this can be quite useful for search engines crawling your site as they can't really 'see' images.

There are some other things which I can think of, I ran your website through a website which gives an SEO score which we use quite frequently, the score was 55/100, which is good but there is of course room for improvement.

Hope this was helpful, if you need any more information feel free to PM me! :)

scores are made up of relevant information of what might be classed as good.
Its only a useful tool if you know what to do with it.
the score part is waste of time.
try woorank for example.
http://www.woorank.com/en/www/google.co.uk
take a look at this
No H1 or metas

work it out your self a lot easier.

possible to share this website link? i'd like to use it

Dublin core is DCMI. a new way (well sort of) doing metadata for web 3.0.
Its a pain in the Butt as far as I am concerned and the fact remains that if it becomes a ranking factor more that before it will be spammed like hell again

It must be broken my woo was only 45

What the hell are micro formatts and dublin core? i need to learn some more :-(

Hi, as you asked I'm quite happy to help you with this for not a lot of money.

I have lots of examples and testimonials to vouch for my expertise from other happy forum members.

In fact, if you scroll down a few threads to one asking for an seo expert someone is recommending me in there.

There are now an increasing number of mobile search users, that type query into search engines like Google or Yahoo, right from their smartphones or iphones. Targeting a mobile version for your website, would be great to improve your search engine ranking!

Hope this helps,

I heard there are two ways
1) Pixie dust
2) You get lots of decent websites (with high pr) to link to you for your chosen subject and you make sure your content is unique and valuable.

I'm not sure about the first technique, go with number two :D

Can any one tell e how i can increase my page rank

1. Register with google places its free & page 1

You need to look at you keywords google thinks your site is about steam 14.86% on density shower is 8.96% and installation is 3.23%.

Ideally you want your density between 4-7% on the words you want your customers to find you with. More than 7% and you are spamming google.

Lack of Landing Page Keyword Optimisation is one of the main reasons people are being google slapped (if you are using adwords)

Searchers must feel your message is very clear and speaks directly to the problem posed in their search query

Landing page must be focussed around a series of highly related keywords
Needs to be a good level of keyword density to make google happy
Remove unnecessary waffle.

PM me if you want to disucss.

just as a sort of update to what am looking for. The content on the site needs tweeking a bit, some keywords like steam are too dense and the links and ALT text on the site needs perfecting. Secondly I was paying about 10 pound a day for ADWORDS to get listed on the right hand side, 2ND page of Google. This worked quite well in terms of sales, but such is the low competitiveness SEO campaigning for this area, I know high ranking is very achieveable.
I know abit about SEO and the content of the site was made by myself. The reason why its not to great is because I outsourced the template design (as i'v never used a e-commerce before) and rushed to get the site online for sales, now I haven't got the time to doing while its running. so please NO BLAGGERS.

Ideally i would like to permemently like to be on page 1 of Google and would like a good company to come do that for me 100% genuinely

thanks

Ok I have had a look....

Amongst many other things you appear to have three title tags, a lot of redundant code and a rather large head (so to speak) which is ordered incorrectly. You css should be off page as well.

I will PM you in a bit with more details.
