Hi all.

I have 2 websites that both rank between position 1 and r on first page Google for 20+ keywords....

I get a huge amount of work from them after having them redone and choosing my own seo guy based on his previous work.

Since my sites have gone to page 1 I've had a lot of unsolicited contact telling me basically how rubbish my site is. Can't be found from keywords. Competitors doing much better and they could help me get to page 1... this is all from a contact us form on the sites so obviously they've found me of a search. I can't understand how telling someone how crap their site is, when it's doing great would win anyone any business???

It's just automated spam sent to the email addresses of millions of sites. Some dummy somewhere will reply and probably take them up on their offer.

It's just a shotgun approach to marketing rubbish seo. But they keep doing it, so it must work on someone. Don't take it personally, they're banking on you not knowing how your site ranks.

Yes, it's all too common I'm afraid. The 'your site isn't being found with keywords' one always makes me laugh. Whatever site you're running and no matter how good your SEO is, you will never be 'found' with every keyword.

We get them as well and we run a SEO company. These are just e-mails sent out blindly hoping someone will bite.
