SEO courses

I assume with the importance of this as a business tool there would be people offering courses on this subject.
We thought so to, so when we approached a local college to run an evening class we expected to have them leap all over us. Their response was that they felt there wasn't sufficient demand...

We have some DIY courses planned but with client work and other projects they never seem to filter to the top of the to do list... I would certainly love to know how much local interest there is in such a course...

Only issue is its size of a class i suppose?

I can't recall the max number allowed, but the small classes are especially beneficial as in advance you have to submit a report of the website in question you are working on, keywords, industry, geo area, so by the time you get to the classroom the tutor has already created a bespoke day and recommendations unique and specific to each attendee.

When I attended there were 4 students including myself and I didn't feel as if this was too small, in fact I liked the personal attention that may have been lost with a generic day with 20 or 30 people.

I approached the local authority with an idea to run free of charge SEO courses at council owned properties. They dragged their heels, and then some bright spark came up with the idea to run free SEO courses. they paid somone from Blackpool to deliver the course and they were rubbish.

Thanks guys, I am looking to attend a course on the 16/07/2013 (£550 + Vat).

They might be running an early one, I am going to phone in 10 days or so.

I will update thread in case anyone else is interested in attending.

Apparently they can do a discount for 3 or 4 attendees.

You can learn everything you need to know online......for FREE.

There is no exact science/Blueprint to SEO so what works for someone else, may not work for you, as for paying £100's for a course...forget that, what you have to ask yourself is, if you have a model that is so successful, then why would you want to share it with everyone?

    Just my opinion

    Thanks
