SEO Company needed?

There are plenty of SEO companies around, some good and some are really bad.. Make sure you get a minimum of three quotes / proposals. An outline of their link building plan. Make sure you check their references and meet them face to face wherever possible.

Make sure when you get your website developed it is built with on page SEO.

Hope this helps.

What type of website are you building? Does it have articles? Or is it strictly a online "brochure"? Or maybe an e-commerce site? I ask because different sites have different SEO options available, and particularly in the case of knowledge, article based sites it can be worth learning some fundamental SEO skills yourself as opposed to bringing an outsider in

Also remember that how your website is structured and the content you include is very important for SEO. Too often I see people have flashy websites designed with terrible structure and poor content then expect someone to come along and wave a magic SEO wand. SEO starts with the whole website design, the content, and in particular your understanding that you need to keep that content fresh and updated over time. You also need to work with your SEO company, as good search engine marketing that will naturally include a social media requires everyone involved, and should not be just something someone else does for you divorced from how you run your business.

You want to build? please clarify if you require design and development service along with seo or what?

If you are looking for seo, be sure what ever you get it is qualitative, ask for previous work. If your website is build good, with good navigation and url structure and tight on page optimization then you are likely to succeed in getting your site rank high. Good luck

Ok if that's your site in your sig you need to liven it up.All the seo in the world won't help if the site can't convert.Logo, you need one.
Ok hopefully this is a makeshift site as you say you're working on a site, but a logo is a must to give branding and confidence.A professional made logo can add alot of trust for buyers.

I wouldn't even bother with seo until you have a site that looks good and converts. With weddings you want something classy with flair, get people caught up in the wedding feeling.

Video, slideshows you need them when you sell products.Might not be what you want to hear but if you seo what you have there I can't see it being worth it.

Up to you but I wouldn't seo that site, you won't get the ROI.

There isn't even a picture of any products on the home page just standard images.

I'd google personalised wedding cards or something and see what your competition looks like(I already have).....up to you.

Alot of business websites rarely change content, there is no need, google knows the difference.Indeed updating a business website daily will harm you not help you.I have sites 3 years old which have survived every update so far and still No1 and they content has not changed in 3 years.

Sites like technology, news etc should be updated daily because they niches change daily,it's commonsense.Way too many people jump on the content is king bandwagon it does not apply to all sites.Do you seriously think a plumber willl update his site, yet he can still rank No1.Google knows the difference.

I couldn't disagree more about having a nice fancy site, they sell your product, indeed all the factors that sell, video, images are good content anyway. If you sell products you want to showcase them not have them blend into the background because you're writing 900 word articles thinking that's what google wants.

If you sell any product or service, you show the product or service in photos and video, natural, writing 900 word articles all over the site is not natural. You'd save the articles for your first tier of links.

Anyway how about you look at the Op's site give some ideas for improving it as you do web design?

A good seo business can rank pretty much any site,it'll cost but it'll rank so why would you spend money ranking something that doesn't sell.

To the OP is this a niche site by any chance or is this your sole business?

Wordpress is inherently seo friendly, easy to edit and the right template can look stunning.

Can't seem to edit my last post

google - thai restaurant london the top site(aka places top spot) is

http://busaba.com/

Show me the content....google knows what a business site is like,I think alot of people here dabble in niche sites thinking content will help them rank but it's not their main income.

Anyway as you can clearly see there is little or no content, the site is No1 in places for a decent keyword in the restaurant niche yet there is virtually no content but the site is stylish.

Oh but wait those of you who know google centralises places(e.g if you are in the middle of the town you will have advantage) will put the fact it is No1 in places to that.
Wrong, look at the top organic site

http://www.blueelephant.com/london/

Not much content there either, but a very nice, stylish site which looks great.

If you are selling goods on your website then you'll need both SEO and eCommerce. You need to make sure they both work together. Some eCommerce solutions arent always that great for SEO.

So get someone who does both, it also depends on what your budget is.
SEO can be divided as follows - onsite SEO (well optimised for relevant keywords) offsite SEO backlinks + Social.

It would help if you clarified what it is your website is for

If you need an SEO company then you won't struggle finding one but be diligent...heres something that might help directly from google

It's always best to take some time and develop a basic understanding, Google provides loads of info (start from the above link). It will help you choose an SEO but also once you get one, having some understanding from a proper source will make your life, and your SEO's simpler.

Get the website sorted first before you even think about seo,it is absolutely pointless seoing a site which won't convert.

Worst advice possible. SEO can't be an afterthought, it's not an add on service. Has to be planned into a new site otherwise it doesn't matter how well it converts it won't have any visitors to convert. Next.
