seo bring business

SEO is vital for a website business. It's all about getting your name out there and having your site come up in search engine listings.

Say you sold antique books and had a website for people to order from. If I searched for antique books on google I would no doubt get pages and pages of results. I may look at the first 2 pages. If your website was listed on page 10 no-one would bother looking through 10 pages of google search results would they? You need your website to be on page 2 at the very least.

So for that you need good links to show google that you are a legitimate and recommended site. Lots of unique content shows that you are not a spammer. Inbound links with lots of keywords makes it easy for the google spiders to pick up.

In my experience working with SEO, a website can go up the google site ranking with really good SEO. That means more visitors and more profit for you.

By the way - I'm fully employable! :D

The people I know who do best with SEO, do something like this:

1. Use SEO in a very targeted way to bring traffic to their site - when I say 'targeted' is import to focus on people who are really looking to buy. You can also use PPC here if you want to get a move on with things.
2. Make sure they work very hard once people are on their site to get contact information from them. This can be done with a landing page, a pop-up or some goodies on the site.
3. Follow up using a mixture of standard emails and phone and other routes to offer useful information about their product and more useful information which they can find useful. This is where facebook, twitter and maybe telesales can be useful.
4. Put all this info into a good quality CRM system.
5. Keep following up and move people to buy, maybe offering a trial first.

This might not fit perfectly for all companies, but it's a good place to start from.

Don't hold your breath, there's a lot more to it than just getting people on your site. Being No.1 on Google doesn't instantly make people, wannna give you their hard earned.

Oh i know, it would just be nice to look at my analytics and have some data worth looking at an then i could determine all the copy and conversion. That is the step after seo i think,
