I don't have many tabs into the world of business any more, but from those I do I have been hearing that sales have bottomed out over the last few months; a continuation of the last few years. With profits in the last year down in the region of 50%.

So, how are SEOs doing?

It would be a shame to see an industry largely comprised of people of general habits and robust constitutions feeling the pinch.

Not here; although in all fairness far more joint ventures than ever before. Will be so glad to see the back of all the Olympics stuff though because we're all sick of it.
The holiday stuff is going to be mega competitive next year; nothing there for the faint hearted.

Mike tells it like it is

TV shopping has rocketed as well. The question will be is how these things are affected when internet tv becomes the norm an dis in every household.

I mean tvs with internet on - not watching tv on the internet.

Those 1960s programmes were correct soon no one will ever go outside or even speak to another physical person. Sexual intercourse will cease-recreation will be by laboratory.

It will happen. :eek::eek::eek:

What did those 5 people buy?:p

Gotta agree the demand for SEO is through the roof as more and more people become aware of how important it is to ecommerce.e.t.c.

Earl

We are currently flat out and for our clients, on average get £7 back for every £1 they spend with us (based over a 4 months period).

When times are tough it's the same with any industry the scammers and shady companies stick out like a sore thumb. All good seo companies will have a strong referral network for instance around 65-70% of our new clients are referred from existing ones.

There is always demand out there for a good service :)
