Hi,

I'm Charlie of Vertigo productions, we are currently working on our website and i was wondering what you guyz thought would be some of the best way to get relevant traffic, the site itself is promised to be SEO Optimized as well as the person making the site doing some social bookmarking.

We have a Facebook Fanpage and are currently working on a Twitter which we are quickly growing as well as our youtube channel getting 100's of views everyday, we thought about it and estimated from all that we would be able to get around 1,000 visits per month... BUT if only 1 out of 250 people visit our site actually contact us... will we be earning enough money and do we need more traffic?
I was wondering if you guyz had any ways we could get relevant traffic to our site?

Aside from Twitter and Facebook, where else are you? Network amongst your niche market and you'll get more relevant interest and take-up.

Im on all the video editing forums but i just use that to get feedback as well as freelance websites to get jobs currently.
I'm going to try and do some keyword research soon but its finding the time to get it done as i only started the business around 3 weeks ago and am promoting like crazy, apllying for jobs daily and creating projects, tutorial videos (for viewership on youtube) and looking into new people and softwares to expand my business further...

I watch the first of your videos looks nice but there is nothing about you're offering.

Please don't take it personal, your message is not clear enough.

If you go on like this don't be surprised if you don't make a single sale after 10 000 visitors.

Right now you are not thinking as a marketer.

I used to work as a DOP on new artist music videos. The only reason why I got work is because I understood how my clients think.

So you have a choice - learn how to think like a marketer, start from scratch and see results faster

WHAT on earth is the point then in saying your going to get a web site if you can't secure the domain name. What is the point wasting yet more members time in asking about SEO

Indeed what is the point in claiming you have some sort of company when you know full well your just a group of 14 year old kids who met through ODesk hsutling for work for $4.58 cents an hour.

A must admit however I admire yoour bravado kid and for that I'll give you 10 out of 10. I'll give you another 10 out of 10 for dreaming that your going to earn anymore than sweetie money out of this venture hence only 1 out of 10 for business acumen but I reckon your learn -but not if you carry on like Dancing with Poodles pretending to be a real businessman. Then all you be is a laughing stock.

I am going to give you the benefit of the doubt and award you with another 10 out of 10 then for being a fast learner. It is in the form of a gong or an award.

Just because those domain ames are taken means nothing. From googling around the op is fine to use that name.

If he registers it as a sole trader on a formations site then even better because the name is still up for the taking until it is properly reg'd by some one.

the .co.uk is less than a year old and in the same boat, expect the real virtigo productions ltd to be along soon asking how to take these kids to court

To get relevant traffic you have some ways like :

- Link exchange with relevant website.
- Buy backlink or banner on relevant website.
- Get relevant links from forum, blog, social with keys...

Ex. My blog is about online marketing with name : online-marketing-web.com, so that I join this forum to get more relevant traffic.
