Just ensure you understand what you really want

Every one of your client wants to rank well in the native rankings on google

rather than what you think you want

that's why I am here but to know what i want I need to understand the mechanics of seo, and that's the issue should a client need to know it?
If i want a website building I don't need to know how to code or the mechanics of the workings, I just tell the developers what I want and I don't pay if they don't deliver, I may loose my deposit, (just happened) we may haggle over specifications, I may be charged for extras that I specify but it is all quantifiable,
SEO is a quagmire and I don't envy seo worker, the constant scrutiny you will be under from your clients especially as the goalposts keep changing,

Though on the flip side for you, you will keep getting more work the more google makes changes

I used an SEO company for another business that I own, he was recommended on here...the results....DIRE...promised the earth beforehand and delivered nothing.
Be very very careful, I would never use a seo company again unless it was based on results and no money upfront.
