Semrush & ahrefs etc reports from fiverr

I'm seeing loads of these offers on fiverr and they seem pretty cheap (a fiver or so!) to get reports on competitors etc.

Has anyone used them to good effect? I've asked a few of them what reports they provide and to send examples and I'm getting varying responses (mostly not clearly explaining which reports are to be provided).

Seems like a quick/cheap way to get some keyword info help provide some insight on higher ranking competitors.

Mostly rubbish. Why do even need to know what your competitors are doing? You won't even know what keywords they are targeting, their marketing plan, how well they convert or anything else.

Just focus on your own business.

And they are mostly pointless. Backlinks are a very minor part of modern SEO. Google has been reducing their importance for years.

What Google is looking for is authority and trust (among other things). These come in part from the right sort of citations and referrals. In other words, other people endorsing your business.
