I have a website selling adventure DVDs - Upndown Films. We're looking into selling content as download rather than posting DVDs, clips will probably last 10-15 mins and we want them to be high quality so they can be watched on full screen and played through TVs. We're not worried about licencing the content as we think that people copying it and passing it on will help us. I downloaded a free film last week in .wmv format that worked really well, it was a 45 min film and took about 30 mins to download. Can anyone offer any advice about file format - is .wmv the most obvious? Also, can anyone help on how we make the download available only to those who've paid for it - we use netbanx as our payment taker and roman cart as our shopping cart.
