Selling to Saudi and UAE

Hi, I'm just wondering if any of you have advice for serving these two markets? I have a product which is cheap and sells in small quantities. We usually post them out by standard airmail and it takes around 5 working days to most places internationally. We always have major problems with delivery times to Saudia Arabia and the Emirates, I think they're super cautious with stuff coming into their country (although you can't tell we're sending product, it appears like a normal letter/printed paper). This is a shame because these customers spend BIG and I really want to do more business with them.

Is there any clever way of targeting and serving these countries, does anyone have any experience of dealing with an agent or anything similar out there?

Couriers should be a lot faster, pretty much next day via DHL. Or is the cost out of the question for that?

The biggest issue with anywhere out there is payment terms, particularly with Saudi.
Thanks for the reply. Yes the product is only worth round £3 each and customers spend on average £20 per order so DHL isn't really an option. Can you elaborate on the payment issues?

We have an office in Dubai.

We work with many customers in UAE as well as in Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Bahrain.

No problems whatsoever.

Actually, I would say they are the most appreciative of our services and payments are always on time.
