I'm a salesman with a good track record and I'm interested in 'doing a dragons den' and pitching new products to retailers within the London area. Can anyone point me in the right direction as to where I might find inventors or product developers with new products that they would like to sell to retailers? I would really be looking at calling up retailers or approaching them in their stores and getting orders for the product. Perhaps even there is a anyone on here who would like me to have a go selling their product to new markets for them!?

I'm really looking for a finished product, that I could go and punt to retailers and they place an order with the supplier through me. I would then take a commission cut but the supplier would arrange the shipping etc. That way I wouldn't have to stockpile or buy stock in a sense, as I'm trying to start this up without a huge initial cash outlay in terms of buying stock.

If the products good, I can sell it. So therefore if you could get me any samples or even a brochure initially then perhaps we could go somewhere with this. I also have contacts in Hong Kong if you are from China and that helps. PM me if you like.

Hi, I will send you a catalogue if you email me, our email is shown as the signature, OR you may search Link Appliances Co Limited from Google and then you will find our website.

Why not just work as an agent with established brands & products. Otherwise, how do you plan to support sell through?

Thats a good idea. So I would approach companies with products, tell them I will try and punt them to new retailers and take a commission with probably a cut for the salesmen I could employ.

Any idea where I could learn a bit more about setting up an agency that works in this way?
