Selling Organic Food (certification question)

My understanding is that the grower/producer and any company re-packaging/branding the products needs to be certified organic, but if I'm just reselling other brands of organic products I don't need any kind of certificate. Is this correct?

The reason I'm asking is because Amazon seem to want me to have some kind of certificate just to sell organic foods.

If I'm correct, can anyone point me to the relevant legislation which I can show to Amazon that I don't need anything?

Or if I'm wrong, who am I supposed to register with? One of the regular organic certification organisations like Soil Association?

thanks, Rob

Years and years ago when me and a friend dabbled in premium Aloe Vera gel products on Amazon, they also asked us for certification - we got these from the manufacturer.

If you're just reselling, then you should be able to get the required certs from the manufacturer or distributor and just let Amazon eye over them and you will be sorted.
