I want to start selling dog treats online, but i know there is a lot of legal requirements. I've decided not to make my own treats but rather buy bulk treats from a legal supplier then package them in my own packaging and resell them online to individuals.
As i am not making them myself, what legal obligations should i be aware of?

Any responses are extremely helpful.
Thanks. Alfie

It depends what country you are purchasing them from. Generally, exhaustion of rights applies in relation to IP when there has been an authorised sale of a product. Assuming you are using a different brand then you are probably ok. However, the rules are changing with regard to the EU so you should seek professional advice on this before proceeding.

Of course you could just ask the manufacturer as well.

surely going to be a miles better idea to approach a company who makes these in the first instance and ask them to produce them for you to standards and according to your recipe. that way you have a unique marketable product. As opposed to selling someone else's.
