Selling American Supplements in UK

I want to sell health supplements, vitamins, nutrition products, and medicines which manufactured in the US to the UK market through an online web store. Does anyone know if there are any legal requirements to do this? I've tried looking into the regulations, but they are a little confusing. Thanks for any pointers you can give.

You'd need to meet EU labelling requirements. You'd need whatever allows places to sell medicine - some sort of pharmaceutical licence?
And the product would have to be deemed safe to be sold to the public. Lab tested as needed.
With prescription if necessary.

Have the items met EU requirements to be sold?
This isn't the US, what they are willing to have isn't necessarily legal or accepted here.

Have to meet UK requirements. Which isn't necessarily the same as US requirements.
They appear to have different idea of 'safe'.
I know. For example, you can buy 5-HTP from usa and sell in UK because 5-HTP is decared as supplement in USA and in UK. But if you buy GABA from USA and sell in UK you have problem because GABA is supplement in USA but in UK it is prescription medication.

LOL - yes, different views of the same item.

Quite a number of items here that can't just buy over the counter that can in US. Perhaps we protect our population better.
