Hello,

we are small uk based company which is selling shoes to the EU.

Right now we are searching for the easiest way how to effectively manage the customs procedure and provide the export from UK to EU as fast and easy as possible.
We are searching for software that would allow us to fulfill the export customs documentation by our own and get correct customs transit documents (T1 etc.).

The average price of our packages is moving between 20 - 50 GBP, therefore we are really searching for the lowest price of 1 customs execution.

I found aeb.com where is 92 gbp/month and 2,82 gbp for every new custom declaration.

Do you know or using something similar ?

Thanks for your help.

IMO you should forget about trying to arrange your own customs clearances. The set up costs alone will be too expensive unless of course you are doing hundreds per week. The T1 process is also complicated and involves 'financial guarantees' that will be prohibitive too. I would let the carrier arrange customs clearance for you and factor those new costs into your pricing structure. Alternatively register a company in an EU country and ship there in bulk after which you can ship product around the EU freely.

The EU-UK Trade and Cooperation Agreement provides for zero tariffs and zero quotas on all trade in goods originating in the EU or the UK. The zero tariff and zero quota provisions apply to all goods that comply with the appropriate rules of origin. This means that tariffs may apply to goods that are not EU or UK originating.

Duties are payable on products of non EU/UK origin so you will just have to live with that and factor those costs into your pricing. Attempting to do your own customs clearances (which will not be cost effective for you) will not change that unless you're thinking of making false declarations on your entry. Unfortunately, the reality of Brexit is you'll be faced with additional costs such as VAT or equivalent, Duty/Tax or equivalent plus Export & Import Customs Entries and handling fees in some areas. Hope this helps.....
