Self employed and 2 different business name

Hello

I am registered with HMRC as a self employed since January 2013.I do gardening and landscaping.I decided to expand my business on trading gardening products as well.I have my own website about landscaping and I am thinking about build another website with different and easy name.

My question is is it possible to be self employed and have 2 different website with different names?

Yes. All that you need to do is fill in a separate self employment page in your tax return for each business.

Should i let HMRC know that i am going to trade products with different company name?
Should i keep all records separately than main business records(bills,invoices...)?

You just need to note the date the second business started when you complete the self assessment page.
