I've just recently started a business with my business partner. The business is basically a van and man service we only have one vehicle but we both work together just doing local collections and deliveries.
We have registered the business as a partnership and were both individually registered. The business expenses and income are split 50/50, everything is equal.
I've taken a look at the partnership self assessment SA800 tax return form and most of it just baffles me, I really don't think most of pages 3-6 are needed for my business, I thought it would be much simpler to do the self assessment just as it is if you're a sole trader.
Basically what I'm asking is what is the simplest way to go about partnership self assessment without having to pay?
I've been fully capable of doing my own sole trader tax return for nearly 3 years now without no problems hence why I was thinking the partnership one would be just as simple.
Thanks for any advice in advance!
