Seeking a new AP SYSTEM

Hello everyone, I'm currently looking into AP systems for my organisation, we turn around about 1000 invoice per month with various currencies and monies going worldwide.

We are currently using Proactis as our procurement and approval process and this links with SUN accounts. Sadly Proactis doesn't have AP Module as an add-on (Looking for automated, secure and user friendly)

We are a not for profit charity, and I've made inquires with other charities to see what they use, but I'm hoping you can help with some other solutions.

Looking at google I have found a company called Kefron, does anyone on here have any experience with them or can you recommend a AP solution that might help us ?

I have just been on Proactis's website and they position themselves at what looks like the high end of procurement/spend management (an area I worked in, alongside with AP, finance, etc many, many years ago). Looking at their integration page, they seem to have a standard integration architecture and looking at the ERP systems they have listed, they are focusing on the more larger corporate systems.

So, what finance package do you use now to raise and pay invoices? Is there not simply a way to integtate into that rather than buying another system? The last thing you want is a finance system, procuerment system and a separate AP system... it will cost you in the long run in maintenance.

Sun accounts does have accounts payable functionality. Why aren’t you using that?Where is the integration from Proactis hitting Sun? Is it straight to the g/l? Is so you should be able to get it to create an invoice in Sun marked for payment assuming you are doing the receipt in Proactis (assuming you are bothering with receiving) Even if you can’t record the actual invoice in Proactis the integration should still be able to automate the creation of an invoice for payment in Sun. For non po invoices you can key them in directly. Proactis does offer an OCR invoice scanning solution which is quite good (was intelligent capture) but from what I recall it needed a very high volume to get the ROI to stack up.

Worked with Proactis for a national association of sport located in northwest london, however on the planning/forecasting side using Proactis integration; can't help with this specific topic but should you ever be looking for a robust planning/forecasting system in future I can definitely help.
