Hi @Gsquad and welcome to UKBF

What sort of security business? Bouncers on nightclub doors? Watchmen at a building site? Fencing and CCTV installation? Technology solutions? Locksmithing?

It's likely you will need this before anything else:

Then you definitely need the SIA. They are the regulatory body for door staff.

It's also highly competitive and you may struggle to find placements as almost all locations will already have door staff.

Insurers will insist on it. And your client's will insist you have Insurance!

This is a really good question mark. It’s really cost effective and it will open the door for others things I wanna do
I'm liking the pun, but the logic is lost on me

What do you mean by 'cost effective'? Amongst other things you will have horrendous cashflow as your staff will want paying weekly and you customers will pay on their own terms.

What I mean by cost effective it won’t cost me much to start it up. Unlike other businesses u may have to put in few hundred

You really need to give more insight if you want meaningful answers

Why will doormen work for you rather than established operators?

Why will clubs (or whatever) use you rather than established operators?

    How will you pay them?

    What insurance will you have?

    What training will you provide?

These are all money questions BTW

It's going to cost you a lot more than that. Getting the contracts means lots of schmoozing and expense
