For me the eye is in the detail. That was posted back in October of last year and We are now with secure trading who I must say im very happy with.

Reading your site you are actually offering to half payment gateway fees not merchant account fees (some won't know the difference).

Hi, Yes that is correct.

I will clarify: aquiring rates are set individually for each business - at the very least, we will match your current rates when switching, in most cases we can usually cut your costs too.

The 50% saving on the payment gateway is a huge saving for any established online business where the "per additional transaction fees" can equate for a large percentage of the cost to your business (anyone processing over 350 transactions per month will be all too familiar with the additional charges). The better your online store performs, the more it costs you (lots of 10p-12p+ charges on top of card processing rates) - by cutting the costs in half, you can save potentially £1000's per year.

With our gateway offer, the more volume you do, the more you save.

Granted, SME's are generally not of the Amazon scale - its all about evaluating the tipping-point when your online business makes enough money to make switching to a full merchant service a viable option (because it will save you money on transaction fees etc.)
