Help!

Bit fed up of having to keep changing PCs and working off a USB stick, then reloading to another PC.

Is there such a thing where I can access My Docs on the internet, edit them, etc so that as long as I have a PC with internet, then I don't need the actual docs to be on the PC?

It's less than 3Gb in total that I need. Any suggestions for a reliable provider?

Thanks

USBs cost £10 and I always bust the soldering when inserting or pulling out. I might lose it if I don't damage it first.

Plus I don't want to leave any un-wipeable docs on my client's PC when I leave my clients' place. Hence uploading to server but not being able to work on the server, just transfer to individual C:\ is no good either.

So why don't I have a laptop? It costs £500 for a good one and lasts me around 3 months. Compared to desktops, they're expensive to buy, expensive to run and easily stolen. There has to be a better way.

You could go for something like Cryptainer Mobile on your USB stick which will provide you with a dedicated drive for your data. Couple it with a backup solution when you are at your base location and you can just re-create it if you break it, lose it or it is stolen.

If you want to be able to work on any pc with a browser then that is different from having an online file store that then allows you to boot up a word document say which requires you to then have word or whatever other program you want on your pc.

I use the mesh for word docs etc and it works great.

But if you want browser only access have a look at google docs and zoho.
