Sales agent opportunity

My company provides consulting services around corporate information management and governance. One of our products is an introductory consulting package which we have developed and refined during 2010. The benefits are clear and demonstrable and include identification of cost savings, business process improvements and compliance with legislation. The target market is any organisation of above a certain size including commercial organisations, public sector orgs and charities. In 2010 we successfully sold this service to several housing associations, a couple of large banks, 8 other FTSE 250 companies and an international charity.

I'd like to talk to any companies/individuals interested in becoming introducers to our business. Commission on a sale would be circa £500. Please PM me if you're interested.

This would particularly suit any services company with a commercial client base - such as accountants, financial advisers, recruitment companies, trade organisations etc.

We can offer 10% of all sales as an introducer fee on any business

PayPerAppointment

would a pay per appointment service suit this project ? We offer a service whereby we will introduce your service or product to your specified target market and generate a geuine level of interest to obtain a superb sales appointment for one of your representatives to sit and close the deal ?

If you require any further info be sure to pm me

Hi there,

Yes, pay-per-appointment would work - in fact that's how I've worked to date. I use a lady I met through the FSB who charges me £50 a meeting on that basis. What are your rates?

But what I'm offering here is a little different - paying £500 on sales of £5000, so effectively 10%. Our largest sale in 2010 was £140,000 which would have generated a commission of £14,000. I'm still willing to go out and close the deal myself but I won't pay the introducer until we've won the business.

I intend to continue with the old model, and the new - assuming it works. So £50 a meeting, or £500+ for sales. Whichever our introducers prefer.

I'd heard of Agentbase from other threads on this forum so I registered as an agent to check the service out. There was a grand total of 36 jobs on there - most of which were not what I would describe as genuine opportunities. I've also tried peopleperhour and have had a pretty good response so far, I hope to meet a few of these guys between Christmas and New Year.

I think were agent base let's it self down is that the do not try and marry the two partys together. What I would like them to do if if I post a position for a sales rep in say janitorial supplies, they should have these guy on there data base and send them ally details. But they want to charge you to put it on their websit and magazine and charge you, even if you do not find anyone for the position

Hi Dean,

We help our clients develop and implement corporate policies for data retention. For hard copy records the rationalisation process is fairly manual, but the cost savings in terms of physical storage can be significant. E.g. one of our Housing Association customers were spending approx £40,000 per month storing documents - the majority of which they didn't need to.

For electronic records we use a data discovery engine to analyse unstructured data and identify duplication, redundant and trivial information for deletion. This often amounts to as much as 60% of an organisation's total business content. Again the savings can be very significant indeed.

Hi Dean,

The problem of content control is fairly generic across all business sectors but public sector organisations and financial services companies tend to have additional drivers in terms of governance and compliance issues. I've got to shoot off now for Christmas but I reckon it's worth having a chat. PM me a number and a good time to call and we can discuss in more detail.

Have a great Christmas.

All the best, Justin
