sagepay server inframe magento

Hi
If using sagepays server inframe within Moto orders in magento, where does the inframe load? Does it expand in a light box or is the frame limited to the width of the “Payment Method” box which is just under 12cms
Thanks!

Thank you for taking the time to reply.

I was just confused as a developer had told me that they would imbed it into the Payment method box which is only 12cm wide, and as the actual virtual terminal inframe measures 21cm - they advised against it saying it would be pretty unusable.

I am just trying to establish whether this advice is correct.

I was looking at their pro extension as i believe this would be the best option for us; they even install it for you for the total cost of $149.

What I’m trying to understand is exactly how this works if taking a manual order in magento. Am i correct to assume that you would select the payment method and without any further action or logging into sagepay a light box opens and the payment details can be entered straight into it for immediate authorisation?

Or do you have to have a specific option for “Virtual Terminal Payment” in the Payment Method list and when this is checked, a link appears that will be “Open Virtual Terminal”, and will open the VT in another window?

Its just a styling interface, and the extension is free so not much point shouting at ebizmarts for creating an excellent extension that just needs a little massaging to get it work with your theme.

I was not suggesting that you shout at ebizmart, as their extension works just fine, looks good, and is by no means "unusable". I am sorry if I gave that impression.

Using the ebizmart pro extension the credit card details are not requested until the end of the process, the customer see the the full order info, presses "place order" and the lightbox appears. Filling the screen.

We have a moto account with sagepay, which we access on a VT as our current software is not capable of being integrated.

I may need to contact another developer who has experience with this type of sagepay integration, just thought it would be standard knowledge amongst all agencies. I needed to be sure i wasn't looking for something that didn't exist or wasn’t possible.

We've had some customisations to the order admin page ie. custom order status's.
We do have securetrading working on the dev site, however the integration has been disappointing compared to what i've now found out Sagepay can do through ebizmarts extension - which is what i'd been looking for all along.

Just wish sagepay wasn't plagued with so many "technical problems".

Just a heads-up - we're using the pro version of ebizmarts, and from what I can tell, it doesn't allow you to take/process orders manually in Magento. There is no payment method listed when you manually create an order, so Magento won't let you process the order.

Hence, and I don't know the correct way of doing this, you'd have to create a payment method (say cash on delivery or something), hide it on the front end, but have it visible on the back end and then use that to put the order through, but take payment via the regular Virtual Terminal you have with Sagepay.

Really? The MOTO option does not show for you? I would raise a bug as it is clearly has this as available on their web site.
