After repeatedly telling me, and many others on the phone that the new MySagePay is here to stay, so get used to it, I've just had this email from SagePay:

[FONT=Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif]You'll soon be able to choose which My Sage Pay you'd like to use.

We're currently working to make the old system talk to our upgraded infrastructure. Once this work is complete, you'll be able to use the old or new My Sage Pay.

We anticipate the old My Sage Pay to be available within the next week - it's obviously a priority so if we can get there faster we will, and we'll keep you informed.

I'm very, very pleased, as will everyone else be. All we need now is an apology, and ideally a sacking. No one responsible for such a mess should have the opportunity to abuse ajax in this way again.

Win!

The old interface had one niggle, enter didn't work on the login form.

It has lots of niggles, but it works, and doesn't say "Oops" every few minutes. Rather than throwing out a very robust 10 year old interface and starting from scratch, it would make a lot more sense to take that interface, look at what can be improved, and work on improving it.

(just in case SagePay are reading - whatever you do, DON'T DO THIS UNTIL AFTER XMAS!)

When I was taking all our accounts online a while back I looked at the sage offering in detail as we used sage for our offline solution at the time.

I could not believe how behind they were for a large corporate and leading accountancy software provider. I also could not get two straight answers to any of my questions.

Hence I went elsewhere for a solution. This major disruption will put off businesses making the change which is a shame as the productivity gains can be massive. When it works that is:rolleyes:
