Sage Instant Accounts - Import Journals for Wages

I hope someone can help me with this. I have Sage Instant Accounts and am trying to find out how to import a journal for wages. Its a pain typing them into Sage. Having looked at the import features on my Sage I cannot find anything to do with a journal import or any templates for a journal.

Would somebody kindly point in the right direction of how to do this and let me know if there is a template available? If no template what should I use as the headers?

Just the standard HMRC PAYE thingy

You can imort journal transactions via File -> Import and selecting Audit Trail Transactions. However, you may find that creating the file with the figures in, in a format that Sage can understand, is more work than the manual entry of the journals...

I don't have a copy of Instant to hand but, on the journal entry screen do you have Memorise and Recall buttons?

dr managers & admin gross wages to p&L
dr employer NI to p&l
cr net wages to balance sheet
cr employees deductions to balance sheet
cr employer contributions of Ni to balance sheet
when you pay you staff their wages dr net wages and cr bank a/c
it may be easier to buy instant payroll to link with your accounting software then you can send the various reports to hmrc.

I ended up putting figures in manually. Didn't take too long.

For the csv do you know what headers I would need to use so they match the journal for the import?
