Royal Wedding

Mixed thoughts if they should stay open or close on the wedding day really. It would be nice for all to get a break that day (inc supermarket staff) but it's such a inconvenience when they close. I can imagine people panic buying for that long weekend if they end up closing. What's your thoughts on this? I see lots of plates and royal wedding memrobilia have hit the markets the week it was announced!

Do the big supermarkets usually close on a bank holiday? No.
Easter Day and Christmas Day only - and that's only because there is a law about it.

I think, I only think I could be barking up the completely wrong tree, but I think he means you would have to be a believer as in believe in pagan celebrations to put up with all the religious holidays such as Christmas and Easter.
I am not sure though :|
