For general ward care, they don't really need that many nurses. Many wards only have one or two actual nurses on duty at any time. The rest are what used to be called auxiliary nurses (Band 2s and 3s in NHS parlance). They can cover these with agency workers.

The biggest issue is with specialist care and procedures, where you need specialist nurses that can't be covered with agency staff.

We're boycotting Royal Mail going forward on our Vape Shop and mostly using Yodel instead.

    Paul.
Yodel surprised me. I needed to order a boiler part on request of the boiler engineer. I ordered on 22nd with estimate arrival of 29th. But the part arrived on 24th December.

Now I'm waiting for the boiler engineer to come and fit it.

My abandoned cart has shot through the roof. I have made it clear to customers that they wont receive their items before christmas. I wanted to roll something on the header, but dont have the time to do a branded header on the site. so I put out a blog post, put the info on the footer and on every delivery choice I put (delivered after xmas).

they're just bouncing and probably going elsewhere to buy. Real PITA. Sometimes just being honest hurts.
Exactly this. I always have banners at Christmas - last posting dates, any problems, first despatch dates after Christmas etc. because I like to keep the customers informed. I have a list of other websites doing the same as us and not one mentioned anything at all. Think I might stop being so helpful next year. Having said that, I don't have to spend the Christmas period replying to emails !

Just had a sale on ebay, was priced and setup as first class postage.
The item sold for a whole £6, plus £1.20 for the postage.
But I've bitten the bullet and sending it by ebay's preferred delivery. Which has cost me £2.75. And it's by Evri ...

But you've got to take care of your customers. Sometimes you just have to take the hit.
