We are in the process of setting up an online business and are looking at purchasing a PO Box so that all of our post, including returns, is sent to a PO Box rather than to a personal address.

We are additionally looking at purchasing the mail forwarding service from Royal Mail, so that any mail received to the PO address is then forwarded onto a personal home address. However, we understand from the Royal Mail website that mail from other couriers won't be accepted into the PO Box unless the full postage has been paid. We are therefore wondering how other businesses get around this / deal with such a scenario. Do you specify to your customers that they can only return goods and contact your business by using Royal Mail only? If you don't do this how do you deal with returned items from other couriers were the postage has not been fully paid?

Thanks
