Royal Mail Click & Drop - Scan and Print

Hi Guys

With an increase in Sales and Reduction in staff, I'm looking into Time saving measures, and using sticky labels instead of paper invoices on the front of package is a good start,

Due to circumstances with the way we pick and pack orders, I'll need to use the Dispatch notes with the scan and print options, the instructions are very vague with RM on this, I have followed the instructions, but there is no Bar Code appearing on my dispatch notes so I can't use the scanner I bought.

Does anyone know how to set up the dispatch notes with the barcodes?

Ok so the latest on this is, RM has now got the bar codes to appear on their dispatch notes printed from Click & Drop, but when I follow the instructions and scan them nothing happens, apparently once the scan is done, the number should appear on Click and Drop and I can then print it.

It almost like the instructions are missing a few steps, like how do you connect the scanner to the Click & Drop Website etc

yes it is

instructions from RM are non existent, and the scanner is plug and play

From what I remember you need to connect the scanner to the computer with click and drop open, click on the order id field and then scan the barcode.

My experience with it was limited and I didn't find it saved very much time at all.

Excellent just tested it and your right, it would have been nicer if scanning actually printed the labels! but its a start I guess
