    Hi,

We've been working with Royal Mail for about 5 years and they came up with new system 'Click and Drop' system last year.
We started to use this since July18 and we experince a delay on items that are dispached with Click and Drop since then. Especially, on the items dispatched on Mondays. Even now, Amazon reduces our shipping rate for Europe countries as the amount of complain gets higher. I've tried to speak to Royal Mail several times but I haven't received any response or action.

I was wondering if there are other sellers experience the same issue and if so, if they have any solution for it?

No, our click and drop has been fine.
With just one large letter that for some reason took 6 days to arrive at a place less than a hundred miles away, stuff has been delivered when expected or even quicker.

Mondays we usually have much larger number of orders to send as expected but no particular problem in processing or delivery.

Europe - won't be royal mail problem. They will ship it to the plane, once its in someone else's airport its some other delivery system.
Italy we had a quick delivery the other week, took only 14 days for a delivery in Rome. Which is about a week quicker than normal for the capital city.

Is your problem with Italy, Spain or France by any chance?

If having trouble using local delivery service then try a different service. A courier.

    Thank you Mr.D!

I've always had issues with Italy and Spain, there is not much of change for those countries.

The problem started with Germany and France. Germany especially used to receive the parcels within 4 working days and recently it takes them 10 working days. I cannot figure out why. Same for France.

My items are very small and cheap products and Royal Mail offers the best solution for me and I never had any issues until they moved to Click & Drop system. If the issues continue, I may have to move to another company :(

    Germany taking time?
Not something I've come across outside run up to Christmas there. Been a few weeks since last had a German order though.

France rural areas I find hit and miss, major cities OK. Except when baggage handlers having a go slow (gotten used to that now).

A lot of what we send on a Monday gets delayed. Sometimes we keep back the orders and send them on Tuesday and they arrive much more quickly.

We also have an issue with large letters which often get left behind in the bottom of the sacks. We sometimes find other companies' parcels in our "empty" sacks. We now post large letters into the letterbox and only put our packets and parcels into postbags.
