Road names in a postcode area?

I currently have lists detailing the roads in a postcode area along with the number of premises in the road etc but they are all paper based.

Is there a site I can get a list of just the roads in a postcode area without any other info?

At a guess I would say Royal Mail or the Land Registry, neither of which would be cheap.

Try using a scanner to put the lists in a spreadsheet using OCR software. Beware though that this is one of those thing that can just work or produces a jumbled list. It depends on the time you want to spend against the cost of buying more data.

I'd second what Scalloway says. Try using OCR software - we've used it before with success.

But it depends how intricate/small/complex your data table is.

Well, not without checking the legality VERY VERY carefully first. I used to do research at universities using this sort of data and I'd be surprised if you were sold the paper version with rights to transfer.

It's possible, of course, but I'd check!
