Hi,

I’m wondering if anyone can recommended a company who can help me with regards to getting my insurance sorted.

I’m trying to obtain public and product liability insurance, however my products are from China. My supplier has said they are happy to sign a rights of recourse agreement / document but I cannot seem to find anything online that I can use for this.

I’ve tried to contact BIBA but haven’t had much luck there. I’ve also reached out to a huge number of insurance companies and I’m having no luck!

Any advice would be much appreciated as I really feel like I’ve hit a wall :(

Thanks,

Danielle

I'm baffled.
Sold tons of stuff (literally) that is from China - most branded but some unbranded - without trouble.

I have a mental image of an insurance company not willing to cover Chinese stuff whose sole clients are old Victorian houses with original fixtures - external toilets etc.

That's odd. My products are mostly from China and I have had no problem in getting public or product liability insuarance. In fact the insurer was not interested where they came from. Possible its because yours are cosmetics?
    Anyway, I use Lockyers
